The Mud Maid is a woodland sculpture in "The Lost Gardens of Heligan" in Cornwall. She is constructed of wire netting and clay to resemble a reclining woman. Her surrounding foliage is changed seasonally by the gardeners at Heligan. I have tried to produce a true representation by using modelling paste and collage.
