Luskentyre Wave is painted in acrylics and is inspired by my time spent being mesmerised by the waves at this special beach on the Isle of Harris. Although this painting is on a small canvas I wanted to capture a large single wave to show how dramatic the waves can be on this beach and to convey the wonderful blues and turquoise against the white sands.
